TE-KIH at EM-HERI 2025 – Piran, Slovenia. The Tlemcen-EMUNI Knowledge and Innovation Hub (TE-KIH) of the University of Tlemcen had the pleasure of participating in the EM-HERI 2025 International Scientific Conference held in Piran, Slovenia, under the theme: “Higher Education Systems in the Mediterranean: Comparative Analysis & Development Opportunities.”

This was a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, building new academic bridges, and strengthening regional collaboration. We were proud to share our vision and to connect with outstanding professionals, researchers, and institutions across the Mediterranean.

Visit of the Slovenian Delegation to the University of Tlemcen & Inauguration of the TE-KIH Center April 21st, 2025

The University of Tlemcen had the great honor of hosting a high-level Slovenian delegation composed of: • Her Excellency Mrs. Kramberger Mendek, Ambassador of Slovenia to Algeria • Professor Rado Bohinc, President of EMUNI University • Ms. Polona Oblak, EMUNI Network Coordinator

• The visit began with a courtesy reception by the Wali of Tlemcen at the Wilaya headquarters, where he warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of strengthening Euro-Mediterranean academic cooperation.
• One of the highlights of the day was the official inauguration of the Tlemcen-EMUNI Knowledge & Innovation Hub (TE-KIH), presented by Dr. Omar Behadada, the center’s coordinator. The hub aims to foster innovation, research, and collaboration between institutions across the Mediterranean.
• This day marked a meaningful step forward in strengthening academic and diplomatic ties through open dialogue and shared vision.
